OUR PRIVACY PROMISE
You control the system.
You control the access.
Private AI should come with a clear explanation of where information goes - not a vague promise that everything is secure.
Local is an architecture choice.
In a local deployment, the AI model and approved company knowledge run on your hardware. Your team accesses them over your network. The system can be designed to work without sending prompts or documents to a cloud AI service.
That behavior depends on the configuration. We identify local workloads and external connections during the system review and document the agreed architecture.
OPTIONAL · CONTROLLED CONNECTIONS
Internet access is specific, not assumed.
Downloading models, software updates, web research, cloud APIs, and remote support can require Internet access. These connections are scoped individually. A workflow that uses an external provider may send data to that provider and is subject to its terms.
Remote support requires authorization.
We agree on who can authorize a support session, which access is needed, and how it is ended. A local installation does not give DFW-AI unrestricted access to company files. Any ongoing monitoring or remote access must be described in your service agreement.
Permissions and logs matter.
Local storage alone does not decide who can see a file. User access, shared folders, administrator rights, prompt history, and diagnostic logs all need deliberate settings. We review what is recorded, who can read it, and how retention is handled in your configuration.
Your hardware. Your data.
You own purchased equipment and retain ownership of your company data. Model and software licenses can carry separate terms. We explain optional recurring services and third-party dependencies before installation.
Backups and replacement drives.
Backup locations, encryption, restore testing, and responsibility for recovery are agreed in the proposal. Before a drive is replaced, returned, or sent off-site, we agree on a documented data-handling process, including secure erasure or drive retention/destruction where appropriate. Do not send data-bearing hardware back without arranging that process.
Private does not mean infallible.
AI can make mistakes. Important outputs need human review. Local architecture does not automatically establish security or regulatory compliance, and no system is risk-free. Sensitive or regulated use requires appropriate technical, contractual, and operational safeguards.
See the boundary for yourself.
Ask us to walk through the data-flow diagram for your proposed system and demonstrate which functions remain available when Internet access is disconnected.
